Organizatorii NME Awards au uitat sa invite unul dintre artistii castigatori la ceremonie

The Killers, Dizzee Rascal, MGMT si YouTube se afla printre marii castigatori ai premiilor Shockwaves NME Awards 2009, care au avut loc miercuri, 25 februarie, la O2 Academy din Brixton.

Un eveniment jenant s-a petrecut insa la ceremonie, dupa ce organizatorii galei au facut o gafa, uitand sa il invite pe unul dintre artistii castigatori. La categoria Best Dancefloor Filler castigatori au fost desemnati Dizzee Rascal, Chrome si Calvin Harris, cel din urma nefiind invitat la ceremonie pentru a-si ridica premiul si pentru a interpreta piesa Dance Wiv Me, rolul sau in prestatia live fiind preluat de Rascal.
