Castigatorii premiilor Grammy 2012

Cinci trofee Grammy au castigat cei de la Foo Fighters, la categorii precum "Cel mai bun cantec rock" si "Cel mai bun album rock".

Muzica dance electronica a fost reprezentata prin Skryllex, pe numele sau adevarat Sonny Moore, producator de dubstep din Los Angeles, State Unite, care a castigat doua trofee: pentru categoria Best Dance/Electronica Album si Best Dance Recording.

La aceeasi categorie au mai fost propusi Deadmau5 cu "Raise Your Weapon", Duck Sauce cu "Barbra Streisand", Robyn cu "Call Your Girlfriend" si David Guetta & Avicii cu " Sunshine".



Skrillex a castigat si la categoria "Best Dance/Electronica Album", la care au mai fost propuse materialele "Zonoscope" - Cut/Copy, "4x4=12" - Deadmau5, "Nothing But The Beat" - David Guetta si "Body Talk, Pt. 3" - Robyn.



La categoria "Best Remixed Recording", premiul Grammy 2012 s-a indreptat catre Benny Benassy, pentru "Cinema" (Skrillex Remix).



Premiile Grammy reprezinta echivalentul premiilor Oscar din cinematografie. Pentru Skrillex, cele doua gramofoane de aur adjudecate reprezinta o recunoastere a muncii depuse in ultimul timp.
