Boy George mixeaza in Cluj Napoca

Vineri , 25 noiembrie club Midi il are invitat la pupitru pe idolul muzical al multor generatii din ultimii douazeci de ani, the one and only : Boy George.

In ultimii 25 de ani, Boy George a fost in prima linie a divertismentului, o afacere intr-o continua schimbare. Ca artist si compozitor a vandut milioane de inregistrari dar si-a mentinut o pozitie de top si ca DJ, fiind un succes international.

Inca din anii ‘70 a avut o cariera lunga si de succes, asociata cu muzica house, proaspatul curent acid house din Chicago in anii ‘80 si cu stilul electro si tech house din anii ‘90 si 2000. Si-a unit fortele cu dj-ul Michael Craig si basistul Jon Moss, pentru a forma alaturi de ei binecunoscuta formatie a anilor '80: Culture Club.

De-a lungul anilor care au urmat, formatia a facut furori in lume. Au scos hit dupa hit, cum ar fi "Karma Chameleon" sau "Do you really want to hurt me".

"I think we live in a very rich time for music as it is so readily available these days; from buying it on the internet to listening to it on your phone or iPod you can submerse yourself in music 24/7 nowadays which is wonderful. Obviously the internet has completely altered the recording industry but it has also had a massive impact on the live scene too, I think it has been a massively powerful tool for emerging artists! Granted there is a lot of badly produced records out there but overall I think the bench mark has been raised with the quality of most music", spune Boy George.
