Intotdeauna a existat o mare prapastie intre lucrurile vechi si noi. Si nu ma refer la conflictele dintre generatii sau chestii de genul. Nu. Se pare ca, desi traim in epoca inovatiei, devenim "alergici" la ce e nou. Cum am ajuns la concluzia asta? E simplu. Tot mai des auzim/spunem/gandim ca "atunci" era mai bine/mai frumos/mai interesant ca "acum". De ce localul X arata mai bine mai inainte? De ce noul album al formatiei Y nu se ridica la nivelul asteptarilor noastre? De ce noul solist e mai putin bun decat cel vechi? De ce vara trecuta a fost mai frumoasa ca vara asta? DE ce regretam mereu "good ol` times?". Am ajuns oare la un nivel unde suntem incapabili sa mai acceptam ceva nou? Nu ne mai putem acomoda asa usor? Adica pe masura ce tehnologia evolueaza... creierul uman se retrage? Stiu ca intrebarile astea sunt retorice, dar noi chiar am uitat sa pretuim prezentul, viitorul, plangand din ce in ce mai mult trecutul si ceea ce a fost odata?

"Woken if Youth" comes as a deep-smooth techno-like hit that slowly comes from behind and surprised you at the front . Spiced up with some crazy vocal samples, this one manages to create quite a middle-peak time action track, so we cant really describe it as genre, but its all about good music in the end, and this is exactly what the whole EP is about !

O alternativa de calatorie low cost – Couch Surfing

O recomandare mai mult decat binevenita pentru cei carora le place sa calatoreasca all around the world, dar care nu vor sa-si cheltuiasca veniturile pe jumatate de an intr-o excursie de 1 saptamana in afara.  Couch Surfing este un portal international prin intermediul caruia poti sa iti gasesti o gazda in aproape orice colt al lumii.

Ce presupune? Sa iti faci un cont cu cat mai multe detalii si sa incepi sa iti cauti gazda. Regulile acestei comunitati sunt foarte simple. Cazarea este gratuita, practic stai in casa omului (atata timp cat te poate tine- depinde de la caz la caz).  Nu esti obligat ca tu la randul tau sa ii gazduiesti pe acei oameni. Poti sa gazuiesti altii, sau daca nu ai loc suficient in casa, poti doar sa iesi cu ei la o cafea,  sa le arati orasul sau sa ii duci la petreceri.

Care sunt avantajele? In primul rand, e foarte accesibil ca pret. Plus ca stai cu un locuitor al orasului in care te duci. Si cine stie mai bine decat un bastinas unde se mananca cel mai bine, cum sa ajungi dintr-o parte a orasului in cealalta, sau care sunt cele mai tari cluburi si petreceri?  In cele mai multe cazuri, oamenii la care stai sunt dornici sa cunoasca cat mai multi straini, asa ca vor fi foarte primitori. Trebuie sa tinem totusi minte ca nu este un hotel, asa ca se poate intampla ca in unele cazuri confortul sa nu fie chiar de cinci stele. Insa daca esti in cautare de un loc unde sa dormi si sa faci un dus, este varianta cea mai indicata. Plus ca in majoritatea cazurilor ai la dispozitie bucatarie, masina de spalat si alte utilitati de care dispune fiecare.

 Dezavantaje? Nu prea sunt. In afara de faptul ca trebuie sa faci aceea cheap talk de la inceput, sa nu lasi dezordine, si sa fii friendly (sa nu uitam ca pana la urma reprezentam o tara si omul care ne gazduieste isi face imaginea despre Romania din felul in care ne comportam noi). Ar mai fi si faptul ca depinzi oarcum de cel la care stai, de programul lui, de timpul pe care il are sa ti-l dedice. Dar nu intotdeauna. Sunt cazuri in care prefera sa-ti dea un rand de chei si sa te lase sa te desfasori in voie.

In ceea ce priveste cazurile in care oameni vin si stau la tine, lucrurile sunt cam la fel.  Cunosti oameni din toate colturile lumii, care calatoresc low cost si care vor sa cunosca locurile pe care le viziteaza prin intermediul localnicilor. In ceea ce priveste Romania,  oamenii sunt foarte curiosi. Aud tot felul de lucruri din tot felul de surse si multi vin sa se convinga daca e adevarat sau nu ce se spune. Vara e invazie de astfel de turisti, in cautare de o canapea pe care sa poata dormi.

Riscuri? La prima vedere ar putea aparea o teama ca nu stii la cine te duci si peste cine dai. Dar fiecare are pe profilul sau recomandari din partea celor care le-au trecut pragul. Acolo poti vedea daca persoana respectiva este o persoana de incredere. Oricum, sunt foarte rare cazurile in care cineva care se inscrie in aceasta comunitate isi propune sa faca altceva fata de ce spune motto-ul : Make a better world, one couch at a time.  Plus ca de obicei, fiecare isi pune pe profil cat mai multe informatii legate de el ca persoana (daca accepta sau nu sa fumezi in casa, sau daca are animale de casa, daca se culca tarziu, daca ii place sa iasa in oras, ce muzica asculta, ce filme ii plac), poze cu el si cu casa, plus adresa, cum se ajunge, cat de departe sau aproape sta de punctele turistice importante.

Am incercat acest sistem si sincer, mi se pare cea mai buna varianta de a vedea lumea fara sa cheltuiesti bani foarte multi. Au venit oameni la mine din America, Elvetia, Norvegia,  si am fost in alte tari si am stat prin Couch Surfing la niste oameni foarte ok.

Vineri, 24 iulie, Lollipop Beach Club (Plaja Hanul Piratilor Navodari) il are ca invitat pentru prima data in Romania pe Tony Rodriguez aKa Brothers'' Vibe, care va mixa dupa orele 22:00. In deschidere, incepand cu orele 18:00, este programat un showcase Lollipop format din Mauss, Xandru, Jeefo, Suciu si Ovidiu Andrei.

Tony Rodriguez este activ în industria muzicală inca de la vârsta de 11 ani. Ca DJ mixeaza pentru prima data la 14 ani, iar in ultimii 23 de ani produce si remixeaza foarte multe piese. Tony si-a dedicat viata de DJ culturii muzicale: ''''''''Music is my being, my soul, my passion; it is who I am. I am no one without it.". Devenind un adevarat ''''''''vinyl junkie'''''''', aduna in colectia sa personala peste 60.000 de placi. Multe dintre piesele sale au fost cantate de DJ-i la nivel mondial, cum ar fi Derrick May, Tony Humphries, Junior Sanchez, DJ Sneak, Roger S, Armand Van Helden, Timmy Regisford, Luciano, Ricardo Villalobos si multi altii.
