Biografie Kenny Larkin

Nu sunt multi ca el. Nu multi percep muzica asa cum o face el. Kenny Larkin este unul dintre inovatorii sefi al asa numitului "second wave" de Detroit techno. Larkin spune despre el cum ca ar fi o persoana sarcastic cinica, care se intampla sa fie si comica.

"Ori imi iubiti umorul, sau puteti gandi ca sunt al naibii de prostut." Momentan el traieste in L.A cu fratele sau geaman Kelvin, unde, spune Larkin sunt multe lucruri bune cum ar fi oportunitatile, vremea, muntii, palmierii, oceanul, cumparaturile.

Fie ca a lansat muzica sub numele de Kenny larkin sau Dark Comedy, artistul techno are un background muzical destul de solid in spate. A inceput sa mixeze la inceputul anilor 90, influentat de legenda techno Derrick May si de cele mai importante cluburi din Detroit. Primul sau album, Azimuth a fost declarat printre cele mai bune productii techno ale tuturor timpurilor.

Poate nu multi stiu ca o alta mare pasiune a lui Kenny Larkin este stand-up comedy. Astfel, cariera sa a alternat intre perioade dedicate in totalitate muzicii si momentele cand a revenit la aceasta pasiune.
