Dimitri from Paris lanseaza Down With The Philly Sound

Dimitri from Paris, carismaticul DJ Fracez, va lansa o noua compilatie pentru BBE, cea de-a cincia din serie, in luna mai, intitulata Get Down with The Philly Sound.

Selectia muzicala a fost facuta pe baza sound-ului disco din Philadelphia, foarte popular in anii '70, stil care a pavat drumul pentru disco-fever-ul din Statele Unite.

Majoritatea materialelor Philly Disco au fost inregistrate de cativa artisti, iar compilatia se intinde pe doua discuri , limidansu-se la 10.000 de bucati.

Primul disc contine versiunea originala a unor piese precum Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes "The Love I Lost," Carl Bean "I Was Born This Way," sau The Trammps "The Night The Lights Went Out", in timp ce discul doi prezinta editurile lui Dimitri From Paris.

Planurile pentru Down With The Philly Sound sunt de a lansa inca patru 12", primele trei cu edituri Dimitri From Paris, iar ultimul re-rubs exclusive ale editurilor originale facute de Tom Moulton, John Morales si Francois Kevorkian.

BBE va lansa editia pe CD a Get Down With The Philly Sound pe 17 mai 2010.
